Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of field construction operations, including P&L, client relationship and staff management.
- Job start up, managing active jobs and job close out procedures. Managing Superintendents and Project Engineer assigned to jobs.
- All project accounting.
- Conducting weekly job meetings and create and maintain project schedules.
- Managing safety aspects of the job.
- Ensuring all projects are completed on time and profitably meeting the budget.
- Maintaining positive working relationships with clients, architects, governmental agencies, client representatives and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- 5+ year management experience on commercial projects ranging from $1- 15 million.
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or equal job experience.
- 3+ years supervisory experience and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with MS Project and Office Products.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills including conflict management.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
- Versed in government agency process and requirements. Exceptional organizational and people skills.
- Proactive self-motivated, detail oriented and ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
