Career Description:

  • Provide leadership to project planning, scheduling, monitoring and controlling of time bound project.
  • Frequent evaluations on project present cost/ benefit analysis at project decision points.
  • Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time and cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
  • Liaison with external agencies, clients, architects & consultants on determining technical specifications, approvals for smooth execution and obtaining on-time clearances.
  • Project scheduling including material and manpower planning.
  • Co ordination with Engineering Design functions such as civil, structural mechanical (Static & Rotary), electrical, instrument for detailed engineering support required for Project Execution.
  • Co ordination with engineering consultant for approval of drawings.
  • Directing the technical implementation according to established schedule & budgets.
  • Co ordination & Integration of Sub-system tasks.
  • Assisting & determining technical & manpower requirements scheduled & budgets.
  • Preparation of B.O.M checking with technical specifications & placing indents through procurement function.

  • Preparation of commercial proposals with detailed terms and conditions, techno commercial discussion & co-ordination with clients/ vendor for finalization, contract negotiations.
  • Strategic planning and implementation of corporate plans including effective mobilization and utilization of company resources.
  • Interaction with Government statutory body.
  • Cost control in project execution, making of reconciliation and final billing.
  • Management of Documented Quality System.
  • Preparation of MIS to top management.
  • Contract Management/ Sub contracting/ Negotiation for contract finalization.
  • Finalizing of tender specifications and finalization of requirements, estimates.
  • Overseeing all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction and co-ordination with site management.

Requirements:

  • An immaculate experience of 18 to 20 years, with a good understanding of civil and structural engineering and architecture.
  • Tremendous leadership abilities in stewarding teams with diverse and senior executive force across various responsibilities.
  • A civil engineer from top university with expertise in project management.
  • Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities.
  • Knowledge of products used in the civil engineering and construction domain.
  • Should be a strong peopleÕs person who has the temperament to mentor and coach the team he leads and be hands on if warranted.
  • Should be meticulous in approach, detail oriented.
  • Good understanding of financial implications and commercially very astute.

Experience:

18-20 years - Candidate having prior experience in Construction Company will be preferred.
